Ralph Maddux opened Columbia Paint & Wallcover in Columbia, Tennessee, in 1946, and three generations of the Maddux family have staffed the counter ever since. Zach Maddux now runs the business his grandfather started, and the store still serves the same do-it-yourselfers and professional painters who have shopped here for 80 years.
What began as a single paint counter has grown into a full source for Benjamin Moore paint, custom window treatments, and wallpaper, backed by a staff that uses the products it sells every day. Homeowners and contractors across Maury County and the greater Nashville area rely on that hands-on knowledge every time they walk through the door.
